One of my hobbies - Radio Control or RC

I have a few hobbies but one of them I enjoy immensely, it's radio control. For the last 20+ years I have enjoyed RC and been involved with the many different forms it encompasses at varying levels. Off and on since my childhood I have raced buggies and stadium trucks competitively. I do enjoy racing but leisurely running them brings me more joy these days. I have 4 kids and 3 of them are very active in the hobby with me. We all have our favorites to run and will soon have access to a private track to do some inter family racing!

As time permits I will add more info about this particular hobby of mine including some pictures and video.

I am slowly getting back into club level racing, wish i had a track I could use, but right now the only good offroad track is about 44 miles away, but they have never charged me for running on the track.

I am getting a Duratrax Evader ST pro I am going to be running.

Wow, right now my local track is 5-10 minutes down the road. It's located in a public park so the restrictions are plenty! When we finally get our private track complete I'll post some pictures of it ;).

Duratrax Evader St pro sounds pretty good and should be a stable platform to run. Don't let the haters turn you off from it though, it's one of their better models.

I use to own 7 diffrent evaders over the 3 years I have been in the hobby.

Sold my last 2 earlier this year because they where getting pretty worn out and I couldn't afford to replace all the parts.

there is a track set up about 1 mile away here int he summer but he wants 5 bucks to run on it and its basically an oval with some extra turns speed bumps and one good jump.

OIC, you know them well then! 5 bucks to run in a circle with a couple bumps......don't think so.

lol yea, i know the truck in and out.

yea i got a peice of ply wood in the shed and a tote i use as a jump.

also keep a peice out at the farm along with some old tires from the blazer out there.
