The color scheme right now feels very clean and nice. I personally think a darker background would look better though.

My thoughts exact, I should have something to preview later tonight or tomorrow. A darker background will draw your attention to the content material much easier and with less strain.

I do have one gripe for ya. It concerns the Forum Icon Legend on the root directory of the forum. Its very hard to tell the color difference between "new posts" and "No new posts". I dont think its my monitor since its seems to be the same at work, or at home, on my laptop or on my pc.

Its nitpicky, I know, but thought Id let ya know what I thought anyway.

I know exactly what you are talking about. It's already in the plans for change in the upcoming design update.
